The funding will be utilized to expand partnerships with Managed Medicaid and Medicare Advantage plans, particularly enhancing its presence in California and Northeastern states, according to Carter. The company is also growing its network of clinicians and contractors and investing in technology development.<\/p>\n
Rosarium Health is already solidifying its presence in California, having announced a partnership with CalViva and Community Healthplan of Imperial Valley. It is now connected to 1.2 million Medicare and Medicaid lives, with plans to reach 4 million by the end of the year.<\/p>\n
\u201cThese partnerships are broadening access to covered in-home interventions for underserved populations, especially in Medicaid and Medicare Advantage communities, while also demonstrating the increasing payer demand for scalable infrastructure capable of operationalizing these benefits,\u201d Carter remarked. \u201cThis signifies that the concept of home healthcare is moving from idea to reality, regardless of where a person resides.\u201d<\/p>\n
Carter notes that the home is the most \u201cunderutilized\u201d site for care. Modifications to the home can clinically reduce fall risk by nearly 40%, and studies indicate that every dollar spent on essential home repairs can prevent up to $19 in Medicaid expenditures.<\/p>\n
Ultimately, Rosarium Health aims to ensure that the home becomes the primary site of healthcare. \u201cWe know we can help millions more individuals age safely at home, enhance their quality of life, reduce caregiver burdens, and significantly lower healthcare costs across the system,\u201d stated Carter.<\/p>\n
