Rosarium Health, a company focused on enabling aging at home, has secured $6 million in seed funding and established partnerships with several Medicaid and Medicare Advantage plans, a development that the company shared exclusively with MedCity News.

The startup’s platform facilitates in-home assessments conducted by occupational and physical therapists, providing recommendations for home modifications aimed at fall prevention. Additionally, it supports home installations and renovations, including accessible ramps and stairlifts. The platform also streamlines automated documentation, prior authorization, and claims submissions. Rosarium Health boasts a network of over 800 clinicians and 3,000 subcontractors across 34 states.

“We deliver and pay for home healthcare at scale, allowing individuals to age with dignity,” said Cameron Carter, founder and CEO of Rosarium Health. “We coordinate the complete lifecycle of in-home interventions, from navigation, clinical assessments, and home modification recommendations to contractor execution, prior authorization documentation, and reimbursement, all through a single, unified system. Essentially, we help transform the home into a reliable and comfortable care site, rather than leaving families and providers to navigate a fragmented process on their own.”

This funding round was led by Kalos Ventures, with participation from ResilienceVC, Rock Health Capital, Symphonic Capital, American Family Insurance Institute for Corporate and Social Impact, Black Tech Nations Ventures, and The Council. In total, Rosarium Health has raised $9 million to date.

“We are excited to support Cameron and his team as they build the healthcare infrastructure needed to make the home a safe and comfortable place for care,” stated Kate Ballinger, an investor at Kalos Ventures. “By integrating clinical information, operational execution, and financial workflows into a single automated platform, they are transforming a historically fragmented process into a coordinated system.”

The funding will be utilized to expand partnerships with Managed Medicaid and Medicare Advantage plans, particularly enhancing its presence in California and Northeastern states, according to Carter. The company is also growing its network of clinicians and contractors and investing in technology development.

Rosarium Health is already solidifying its presence in California, having announced a partnership with CalViva and Community Healthplan of Imperial Valley. It is now connected to 1.2 million Medicare and Medicaid lives, with plans to reach 4 million by the end of the year.

“These partnerships are broadening access to covered in-home interventions for underserved populations, especially in Medicaid and Medicare Advantage communities, while also demonstrating the increasing payer demand for scalable infrastructure capable of operationalizing these benefits,” Carter remarked. “This signifies that the concept of home healthcare is moving from idea to reality, regardless of where a person resides.”

Carter notes that the home is the most “underutilized” site for care. Modifications to the home can clinically reduce fall risk by nearly 40%, and studies indicate that every dollar spent on essential home repairs can prevent up to $19 in Medicaid expenditures.

Ultimately, Rosarium Health aims to ensure that the home becomes the primary site of healthcare. “We know we can help millions more individuals age safely at home, enhance their quality of life, reduce caregiver burdens, and significantly lower healthcare costs across the system,” stated Carter.
